bulletNASA CONNECT Video "The Measurement of All Things: Atmospheric Detectives"
Teachers, do not forget to get your free copy of the 30 minute NASA CONNECT™ video "The Measurement of All Things: Atmospheric Detectives". This program aired November 18, 1999 and features the CALIPSO mission (formerly PICASSO-CENA). In this episode of NASA CONNECT™, students are introduced to the study of atmospheric science and our impact on the environment. Scientists from NASA and the Center for Atmospheric Sciences (CAS) at Hampton University demonstrate how remote sensing and mathematics are used to measure aerosols in the atmosphere and their effect on global temperature change.
